Restaurant Brand Website
Akwaaba House
I shaped Akwaaba House to feel like the digital version of walking into a premium Ghanaian dining space: warm, intentional, polished, and easy to trust. The experience leans on deep green and gold tones, confident typography, and rich imagery so the atmosphere does as much work as the copy.
What I wanted the user to feel
I wanted visitors to feel welcomed immediately, but also reassured that the brand was premium, culturally grounded, and worth exploring further.
Why I designed it this way
That is why the hero is spacious, the type is editorial, and the layout avoids clutter. For a hospitality product, mood and appetite matter, so I let the imagery breathe and gave the primary actions clear visual priority.
UX decisions I prioritised
I broke the journey into story, space, highlights, menu, people, and contact so users can either browse at leisure or move directly toward a booking decision. The structure balances emotional storytelling with conversion clarity.
Live website laboratory
The designs move from case study to working website.
Reveal the desktop workspace to browse each live site in place. On smaller screens, direct project actions keep the experience fast and usable.
